<p>SATURDAY, Apr 28 (HealthDay News) — Parents with bad math
skills are some-more expected than others to give improper doses of medicine to
their children, a new investigate finds.</p>
<p>The investigate enclosed 289 relatives of children younger than 8 years who
were prescribed a brief march of <span>liquid medication</span> after being seen in a
pediatric puncture department. The relatives were given 3 tests to
assess their math and <span>reading skills</span>, and researchers also watched the
parents as they totalled out a sip of a <span>medication</span> prescribed for their
child.</p>
<p>Nearly one-third of a relatives had low reading skills and 83 percent
had bad math skills. Twenty-seven percent had <span>math skills</span> during the
third-grade turn or below.</p>
