Study: Long use of any hormones poses cancer risk

CHICAGO (AP) — New investigate suggests that long-term use of any form of hormones to palliate menopause symptoms can lift a woman’s risk of breast cancer.


It is already famous that holding pills that mix estrogen and progestin — a many common form of hormone therapy — can boost breast cancer risk. But women who no longer have a uterus can take estrogen alone, that was suspicion to be protected and presumably even somewhat profitable in terms of cancer risk.


The new investigate suggests otherwise, if a pills are used for many years. It tracked a health of about 60,000 nurses and found that use of any kind of hormones for 10 years or some-more somewhat lifted a chances of building breast cancer.
