<h3>Affordable Care Act supports families of children with special health caring needs</h3>
<p>Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius currently announced $4.9 million in Affordable Care Act appropriation to support Family-to-Family Health Information Centers, essentially non-profit organizations run by and for families with children with special health caring needs.</p>
<p>“These centers yield a information that families need to make health caring decisions that are right for their children,” Secretary Sebelius said. “Family-to-Family Health Information Centers are a good investment, and have a quantifiable and certain impact on families, and communities.”</p>
<p>Created in 2005, a centers are state-wide, family-led organizations that yield information, education, training, outreach, and counterpart support to families of children and girl with special health caring needs and a professionals who offer them.</p>
