Does More Dental Plaque Mean Higher Chances of Dying From Cancer?

<p>TUESDAY, Jun 12 (HealthDay News) — The gnarly board sneaking on
your gums and teeth might boost your chances of failing from <span>cancer</span>, new
research suggests.</p>
<p>Many studies have associated verbal health to ongoing illnesses such as heart
disease. This latest research, however, suggests that people who have more
plaque on their <span>teeth and gums</span> are some-more approaching to die betimes from
cancer.</p>
<p>The findings, that seem in a Jun 11 book of BMJ Open,
show usually an organisation between board and a lifted risk of early cancer
death, and not a cause-and-effect relationship.</p>
<p>In a new study, scarcely 1,400 Swedish adults were followed for 24
years. During this time, 58 of a subjects died, 35 from cancer.</p>
<p>Study participants were asked about smoking and other risk factors for
