Rare Drug-Resistant Bacteria Spotted in U.S. Hospital

THURSDAY, Jun 21 (HealthDay News) A singular form of lethal germ was found in dual patients in a Rhode Island sanatorium in 2011, though quick diagnosis and infection control measures stopped any serve spread, a new supervision news shows.
The micro-organism called New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase (NDM)-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae is rarely resistant to antibiotics and simply spread. It is singular in a United States, though some-more common in areas including India, Pakistan, Cambodia and other Asian countries.
