FDA finds some-more vials of feign cancer drug

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Food and Drug Administration is warning doctors that a second tawdry chronicle of a best-selling cancer drug Avastin has been found in a U.S., finished as a Turkish code of a medication.


The FDA pronounced late Tuesday that a counterfeits do not enclose a active part in Avastin, that is used to provide cancers of a colon, lung, kidney and brain. The vials are finished as Altuzan, a Turkish version of Avastin that is not authorized for use in a U.S. The group says any packages or vials labeled with a lot series B6021 should be deliberate counterfeit.


Doctors bought a counterfeits by Richards Pharma, a U.K.-licensed distributor that also does business as Richards Services, Warwick Healthcare Solutions and Ban Dune Marketing Inc.
