Baldness Drug May Cause Sexual Side Effects: FDA

<p>THURSDAY, Apr 12 (HealthDay News) — Two <span>Merck</span> Co.
drugs — one to provide hair detriment in men, a other to provide an enlarged
prostate gland — will get revised <span>labels</span> warning of intensity passionate side
effects that can final even after patients stop holding a drugs, a U.S.
Food and Drug Administration pronounced Thursday.</p>
<p>The dual drugs — Propecia to fight masculine settlement baldness, and Proscar,
to provide lengthened prostates — share a same chemical compound, called
finasteride. One sip of Propecia contains 1 milligram of finasteride; one
dose of Proscar contains 5 milligrams.</p>
<p>The new Propecia tag will embody a warning of “libido disorders,
ejaculation disorders, and orgasm disorders that continued after<span>discontinuation</span> of a drug,” a <span>FDA</span> pronounced in a news release.</p>
