Sexual side effects combined to Merck drug labels

<p>(Reuters) – Prescribing labels for <span>Merck</span> Co’s drugs for baldness and <span>enlarged prostate</span> will supplement reports of <span>sexual side effects</span> that continued after use of a medicines was stopped, U.S. health regulators said.</p>
<p> Labels will be revised for Proscar, that treats symptoms of lengthened prostate, and hair-loss diagnosis Propecia, a <span>Food and Drug Administration</span> said. The active part in both drugs is <span>finasteride</span>.</p>
<p> The Propecia tag will now embody presentation of problems with libido, ejaculation and orgasms that continued after use of a drug was ended. Proscar’s tag will embody presentation of decreased libido.</p>
